Iran will be a long and difficult challenge, but through charisma and ingenuity, Obama has been able to forge a more balanced world alliance in unison for Iranian limits than we have seen in years. I think in the long run, sanctions, the threat of further economic isolation and the fear that a united world may act militarily will hopefully accomplish something worthwhile in Iran. Preferably this will come about before Iranian hard line extremists bring about an action that will result in great regret for Iran, Israel and the rest of the free world.
I hope you are right [that Obama has forged a world alliance that will be tough on Iran] but fear you are not. Already, Russia has forced Hillary Clinton to pull back on plans for aggressive sanctions. If this continues, the Iranians would have bought time and we would have bought air.
