Iran Sentences Women's Rights Activists to Jail

Iran has sentenced four women's rights activists [including Parvin Ardalan] to six months in jail over articles written on feminist websites.

The four are active members of an initiative that seeks to change Iran's Sharia-based laws for women by collecting one million signatures.

Iran's new family law has also angered women's rights advocates who say it facilitates polygamy.

All their women need to start moving out of Iran. When it is just men and goats (very scary for the goats, sadly)perhaps they will choose to enter the 20th century. It would be interesting to know how many of those one million desired signatures have been received so far, and what the government will do with the people who sign?

Good point about those signatures. The bravery multiplies when you consider your point.

Will PETA speak out against goat abuse should your prediction come true?

Thankx for the laugh on that.
