Capturing the MidEast in short soundbites: poignant
reflections by people who understand the complexities of the Middle East. My philosophy is: "less is more."
You won't agree with everything that's here, but I'm confident you will find it interesting!
Excepting the titles, my own comments are minimal. Instead I rely on news sources to string together what I hope is an interesting, politically challenging, non-partisan, non-ideological narrative.
I have to say, I think Weiner is more distracting from the nonsense coming from the Presidential candidates than he is taking attention away from world events. I believe the gall and arrogance of Rick Santorum explaining that John McCain does not understand 'enhanced interrogation' (Republican-speak for torture) but that Rick Santorum does---would have been a bigger story and possibly the end of Santorum as a candidate---if anyone were actually listening these days.

I'm a news savant...only follow the MidEast. I barely know who Rick Santorum is...but I'd be happy to take your word for it that he's a turd.
