Hamas purchased more than 61% of its Internet services from U.S. and Canadian providers.
According to the Patriot Act, everyone affiliated with or supporting them are also deemed terrorists. Thus, North American corporations that sell server space and IP services to Hamas aid and abet a terrorist network.

Canadian firms selling service to Hamas include:

We need not stand helplessly by while terrorist groups work to destroy us. Their Web sites can be shuttered, especially when IP companies are American.

I think this is only fair, since oil service companies such as Halliburton have been profiting from Iran and Iraq for the last decade. Some might think these websites are a good way to see what is going on in these organizations, and if they are using protected parts of their site, or code, we can hack in or break it. If there were no sites we could not gain this access. Terrorist groups have long been able to recruit and train quite effectively without the internet, so i am not sure we would be dealing them a fatal blow to cut them off. Now, in reality I am not arguing for this practice to be acceptable. Maybe the company I keep is rubbing off on me lately and I am playing Devil's Advocate, but I am not sure there is much here. Al Jazeera will put in the technology and run everyones sites soon enough. We could deal a terrific blow against all the terrorists and the lands that harbor them if we stopped helping them with their oil infrastructure, and reduced our oil imports, and could get all the other nations to do the same. But they won't because oil is more important to Russia, China, not to mention the Bush Administration, then are lives and safety.
