This is not the direction Healthcare Reform is supposed to take.
You should know, as Healthcare is your area of expertise.
I look forward to reading your review of Moore's new film critiquing the US Healthcare system on your blog:

I like Michael Moore; many of his his views and what he tries to accomplish, but I do not share his belief that a Single payer System is the panacea for America. In fact, my fear is if the number one market for healthcare and the number one innovator of new treatments were to become government run----healthcare progress across the globe would grind to a halt. And that is just the beginning. When the same payer is also responsible for paying for a large part of your retirement, through Social Security, with its own funding issues, it is a much cheaper proposition, rather than costly medical care, and then monthly payments for years, to just let you die. If I ever get to blogging again, or published, I will offer other ways besides single payer that can fix the mess.
PS-Thanks for the plug!
