Capturing the MidEast in short soundbites: poignant reflections by people who understand the complexities of the Middle East. My philosophy is: "less is more." You won't agree with everything that's here, but I'm confident you will find it interesting! Excepting the titles, my own comments are minimal. Instead I rely on news sources to string together what I hope is an interesting, politically challenging, non-partisan, non-ideological narrative.

IDF: Women lead Hummer Teams
Female Combat Hummer Operatives
The female soldiers who serve in the Hummer Operators' Unit - there are no male Hummer operators - spend their days in the field, training other soldiers how to use military Hummer vehicles in real-life combat scenarios.

I found this very interesting, but I wonder why they made this unit entirely female. If there is an advantage explained I did not find it. Of course, no one ever has to explain why a unit is all male, so maybe that is why they do not mention it.
No clue...brings to mind the Beatle's song "Baby You Can Drive My Car."
