Facebook Photo of IDF Soldier Was Faked

A photograph on Facebook that became an Internet sensation - allegedly showing an IDF soldier pointing a weapon at a young Palestinian girl - was faked.

The soldier in the photo is carrying an AK-47 rifle, which is not used by the IDF.

LHwrites said...: It is good when the fakes can be so obvious. I have seen stories that did not make sense knowing how the Israelis operate and it is a good idea to publicize each and every fake so that the public sees the pattern.; Friday, February 03, 2012 8:40:00 AM
